@cubody/pi-vscode

Public installer and updater for the PiCude VS Code extension and its matching Pi control bundle. No Gitea account or token is required.

Requirements

Node.js 20 or newer
VS Code 1.90 or newer with the code command available
Pi 0.81.1 or newer

Install on Windows

npm install --global --prefix "$env:APPDATA\npm" @cubody/pi-vscode --registry=https://git.cubody.ru/api/packages/cubody/npm/
& "$env:APPDATA\npm\pi-vscode.cmd" install

Reload the VS Code window after installation. %APPDATA%\npm is normally on PATH; reopen the terminal if pi-vscode is not found immediately.

Install on macOS or Linux

npm install --global @cubody/pi-vscode --registry=https://git.cubody.ru/api/packages/cubody/npm/
pi-vscode install

Update

pi-vscode update

The update command updates the CLI, installs the matching VSIX, verifies its SHA-256 checksum, and synchronizes the matching files under ~/.pi/agent. Locally edited Pi helper files are not overwritten.
